Immerse yourself in a fun and unique experience this summer and join us as we explore Zimbabwe through music. A hands-on introduction to world music, while focusing on group music skills and community music-making. Learn fun rhythms, melodies, and playing harmonies in a culturally rich and fun atmosphere. Students will learn proper playing technique and ensemble skills, with the emphasis on learning music aurally. We will be playing on marimbas, drums, and hand shakers.
All music levels AND beginners encouraged to come play! No prior musical experience needed.
